Covid-19 Update (Jan 2021)
Clinic is open, in accordance with Statutory Instrument no. 350 ‘The Health Protection (Coronavirus, Restrictions) (England) Regulations 2020’ confirming that it is lawful for a chiropractic practice to remain open during the pandemic.
Obviously working practices have had to be changed and I will be working within the framework set out by the government, Public Health England and my professional association. This means adopting strict cleaning, sanitation and infection control procedures and using personal protective equipment (PPE). Face-to-face treatment will be dependant on individual circumstances following discussion between patient and chiropractor.
As the transmission rate has increased again and the reproduction number (R) is above 1, there is a risk of transmission when attending clinic. Deciding to go ahead with face-to-face care is a serious decision and we must act in the best interests of ourselves and the wider community. Please consider your own personal circumstances before deciding to come for face to face treatment. If you have any concerns please call us to discuss.
Please follow NHS and government guidelines and take good care of youself.
Ivy Road Chiropractic is a small, personal centre offering friendly advice and help on achieving optimal wellbeing. I work in partnership with you to achieve your goals be that reduced pain, improved general health or just feeling happier in your own body. A great place to come if you are looking for a chiropractor in Macclesfield.
The McTimoney method of Chiropractic is a gentle and effective approach to whole body health. It aims to improve the alignment and mobility of the bones of the spine and other joints of the body, to restore optimum function, alleviate pain and to allow natural healing. Wherever possible, Chiropractors using the McTimoney approach work in co-ordination with the patient’s own doctor.
I am a member of the McTimoney Chiropractic Association and am Registered with the General Chiropractic Council. You can find more information about these bodies under Related Links.
The figure Cheiron, half man and half horse, bears the torch of knowledge and the caduceus of healing. He represents a spirit of philosophical independence, compassion and a sense of trust.
These are qualities to which McTimoney Chiropractors aspire.
